Let’s talk about Lasagna

I know that the title alone will cause some controversy. I know the eagle-eyed lot of you will see the ‘a’ at the end of the line and think, “Ha! Gotcha.”

Therefore, before I leave my spelling to be pulled apart like the cheese in the thumbnail, I will present a short defence as to why I have chosen to spell lasagna with an ‘a’ instead of an ‘e’ at the end.

It is this Google search that screenshotted literally two seconds ago. I have not actually read the article, because I am a bad person (unlike you, dear reader, who I am sure will read my article until the end).

Ahem. Now with that formality out of the way, we can finally focus on what really matters: lasagna.

I think most people have fond memories of the lasagna their mothers used to make. That delicious, homemade lasagna. In fact, all my memories of lasagna are of it homemade.
